Born and raised in Franklin County, Bradley D. Sherman is the newest member of Davis, Kessler and Davis.  Mr. Sherman graduated Franklin County High School, Middle Tennessee State University, and the Nashville School of Law.  Licensed in 2010, Bradley moved to Knoxville, Tennessee while his wife, Courtney, attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.  There he joined the law firm of Haynes, Meek, Summers, and Stanuszek and began practicing primarily in the areas of family law and criminal defense in Knoxville and the surrounding counties of east-Tennessee.  For the next four years Bradley worked with several attorneys and judges, representing clients in a variety of cases while appearing in courtrooms from Memphis to Kingsport.  During these formative years, Mr. Sherman argued cases everywhere from traffic court in Lebanon, TN, to the Tennessee Court of Appeals.

Four years later, Brad and Courtney returned to Franklin County where he opened an office in Winchester and spent the next year developing relationships in the legal and business communities, while building a thriving practice.  However, life as a solo practitioner was short lived as Bradley was promptly recruited into the District Attorney General’s Office for the neighboring 17th Judicial District, where he served as a prosecutor – primarily in Bedford County – for the past two-and-a-half years.  His experiences as an Assistant District Attorney took him to courtrooms all over southern middle-Tennessee and gave him valuable new insight into the world of criminal defense.

Mr. Sherman is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and the Tennessee Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.  Additionally, Bradley is a member of the Tennessee Municipal Judges Conference.  He has served as the municipal judge for the City of Cowan since December 2016.  Equally at home in the courtroom and the conference room, Mr. Sherman has also completed Rule 31 Mediator training through the Lipscomb University Institute for Conflict Management.

Admitted to practice in all Tennessee State Courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Bradley D. Sherman is bringing his experiences as a litigator and a prosecutor back home to Franklin County to aggressively fight for clients. He will focus on providing holistic, comprehensive representation geared toward meeting every legal need of each and every client, across interconnected areas of the law.  He likewise seeks to serve the legal community by providing top-quality service as both pre-mediation settlement counsel and a Rule 31 Mediator.
